I think I should have a show. It would be called ‘Fuck My Luck’ and would involve myself playing a ‘Ralph Bates in Dear John’ type of character, for whom it never rains but fucking pisses it down for a month solid and has a face like a well slapped arse.

The theme tune would be ‘Please Please Please let Me Get What I Want’ by The Smiths

This is genius. Well done.

I once had a dream where I was the Truman character. My whole life was a TV show, as was Truman’s. However, I was trapped in the deleted scenes of my show, meaning that nobody could see me. It was very upsetting.. I’m mental.

My sitcom might be called something a bit like: ‘badgerdaddy: he’d just as soon you were dead’
or maybe ‘badgerdaddy nights’, a bit like Baywatch Nights only the swimsuits are black and white. And made of a very stiff fur.

I was talking to one of the lads about this last night and he gets the occasional panic attack that he is Truman from The Truman Show, and his entire life is on telly for everyone else’s amusement. Talk about self-absorbed…I eventually got him to understand that my life is the only one that anybody cares about.

Those are some good sitcom names. Keep them coming.
